The Big Idea

As part of ICAD’s 50th celebrations we were invited along with 49 other Irish creatives to produce an original piece of work illustrating the theme “The Big Idea”. The big idea we chose to represent was String Theory. It is shown across a series of two-dimensional wire-frame rotations of Calabi-Yau spaces. Ten dimensions of space and one central dimension of time. Many thanks to Professor Andrew J Hanson who kindly provided modeling software for this project.
